Who are We?
We are God’s people who respond to the goodness and grace of God
in our every day lives. We are the
church both in the doors of 1455 McIngvale and in the world. We are the hands, feet, eyes, and ears of
Christ in this world. We worship twice weekly, study often, fellowship frequently, and live alongside one
another while trying to reflect God’s way in this world.
Who are our Leaders
From among the congregation, the church elects leaders called elders who serve on a session that meets often to
help make decisions in the church. These elders serve on various committees in the church for which they often
serve as chairpersons. Since we are a connectional church, these elders are also Presbyters which mean they (if elected as a delegate)
have voice and vote at the Presbytery level where they serve alongside the pastor. The current elders are:

Jim Franks-Clerk
Randy Scott
Teri Byrum
Kelsey Moffitt
Phyllis Hicks
Mike Miller
Jim Nicklay
Emily Blair Brown
Faye Garrett
Jennie Pesce
Hannah Hill
Chris Thomas
